COSTA DEL VIENTO: Spain's Met Office extends south coast weather warnings for THREE DAYS!

SPAIN’S national met office, AEMET, has extended orange and yellow warnings along many of the country’s most popular costas in the south today (Wednesday).
The state weather agency is forecasting that virtually the whole coast of Andalucia from Cadiz in the west to Almeria in the east will experience high coastal waters – with waves up to seven-metres in places – and strong winds for the next three days.
112 Andalucia has warned residents and holidaymakers to take care if they are near the seaside.
Today (Wednesday) there are orange and yellow warning alerts in place in:

  • Andalucia: Almeria, Cadiz, Granada and Malaga which includes the Costa del Sol
  • Ciudad de Ceuta: Ceuta
  • Ciudad de Melilla: Melilla
  • Galicia: A Coruña

Weather warnings for Thursday include:

  • Andalucia: Almeria, Cadiz, Granada and Malaga
  • Ciudad de Ceuta: Ceuta
  • Ciudad de Melilla: Melilla
  • Galicia: A Coruña

While on Friday the warnings remain in place in the Andalucian provinces of:

  • Almeria
  • Cadiz
  • Granada
  • Malaga
