POUNDED BY WAVES: The chiringuito on the iconic Bil Bil beach on Spain's Costa del Sol
DINERS at the Maracas Beach chiringuito on the iconic Bil Bil beach on Spain’s Costa del Sol could get fresh fish delivered straight to their table after high waves inundated the popular eatery.
The popular beach club and restaurant at Benalmadena was battered by the forecast high coastal waters that have seen the Costa del Sol and the south coast of Spain on ORANGE weather alerts for waves up to seven-metres for several days.
After baling out the kitchen and beach-front restaurant the chiringuito the owners expect the venue to reopen again shortly.
