TOWNS and cities across the Costa de Sol are set to cut their lights on Saturday evening to mark Earth Hour.
Malaga City, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Mijas and Marbella are joining more than 7,000 towns and cities worldwide in blacking out public places for climate change awareness between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
Torremolinos Council said lights in the Costa del Sol Plaza would be cut and candles would be used to illuminate the square during the hour.
They will be laid out in the shape of the number 60 to mark six decades since Earth Hour began.
