MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGES: Legacy event spreads inspiration

CHARITY leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs came out in force for the launch of The Best You Legacy Club Marbella.

Organised by businesswomen Glenda Smithson and Kathleen Parker, and taking place at the glamorous Restaurante Posidonia Banus, the event saw a series of speakers share their inspiring and motivational messages.

The Best of You Legacy Club founder and NLP Life owner Bernardo Moya began the event, telling guests how a loss in the Spanish real estate market when he was 38 spurred him to action, prompting him to begin working on his personal development.

Moya explained: “I wanted to create a brand that would be global… and the Legacy Club is now all over the world.” The entrepreneur added: “I have since also worked with Paul Mckenna and together we have helped more than 25,000 people.”

Kathleen parker then introduced her daughter, Kerri Parker, a former Miss UK and entrepreneur.

Kerri inspired attendees, explaining how she thought she was living the dream in LA at 25 until five years later she was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of brain cancer. Given an initial diagnosis of just five years to live, Kerri is living life to the full six years on. Although her cancer is terminal, the actress is still fighting and continues to live her best life; climbing mountains, swimming with sharks, and even earning a black belt.

Next, the Euro Weekly News’ CEO, Michel Euesden share her inspiring story. Speaking movingly about her own fight to live her best life after receiving a cancer diagnosis, Michel told guests her own keys to being the best version of herself for her family, business, friends, and employees. At the end of her motivational speech, Michel created a powerful visual message by inviting attendees to, “have faith,” and to share it by lighting a candle and passing the flame to their neighbour.

The next Best You Legacy Club Marbella event is on Friday April 12 at Restaurante Posidonia Banus.
