Youngster charged with attempted murder in Almeria

A 21-YEAR old from Huercal-Overa is under arrest for attempted murder after firing shots at a car with two people inside.

The bullets hit the window, but no-one was injured.

Guardia Civil reported the shooting occurred on March 29, prompted by an argument over the quality of cocaine the young man identified as B.M.G. had sold the pair. Investigations revealed he had been involved in a cocaine and marijuana sales setup from a property in Huercal-Overa and had an extensive criminal record.

A search of the property resulted in the seizure of a tin of marijuana buds, 22 bags of the same drug, 14.4 grammes of cocaine, €4,500 in cash and the gun used to fire at the victims. As well attempted murder, officers charged the 21-year old with drug trafficking, illegal possession of arms and traffic safety violations.

They also detained an 18 and a 20-year old who were inside the property for crimes against public health.
