THE National Police have arrested 20 people across 15 Spanish provinces on suspicion of taking part in a child pornography ring. Among the detainees are said to be a Barcelona-based football coach and a pensioner living in Sevilla. A further 10 people are said to remain investigation but have not been arrested. According to Spanish media, the group allegedly used file storage clouds to upload and share child pornography images across Spain. Police reportedly searched computers at 30 homes in Zaragoza, Valladolid, Barcelona, Vizcaya, Castellon, Pontevedra, Lugo, Madrid, Tenerife, Jaen, Granada, Malaga, Sevilla, Almeria and Cordoba. Those arrested are said to include two 16-year-olds in Zaragoza, as well as a 55-year0old in Almeria, who allegedly has a history of sexual crimes. Two women in Madrid and Malaga were also arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography and are said to have told police they downloaded the files.
