INTERACTIVE MAP: Discover Spain’s official dog-friendly beaches for Summer 2019

IF YOU want to take your pooch to the playa in Spain there is good news for you – with ten more dog-friendly beaches listed for Summer 2019 than in the previous year.

The Red Canina website has updated their listings, that have been broken down by area, and usefully created an interactive map to find the nearest beach for you and your four-legged friend.

The site explains: “A few years ago, the Coastal Law was amended to include the prohibition of dogs on beaches in the summer season.

“Since then many municipalities have been encouraged to enable the beaches for the enjoyment of bathers and their pets – some better than others it has to be said.”
