Lorry driver dies in horror smash in south of Spain

A MALE lorry driver has died in the south of Spain after his lorry left the road and overturned yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

The fatal accident happened at km4 on the A-308 in Iznalloz, Granada according to the emergency services.

Firefighters, Guardia Civil police and paramedics attended the crash but the 42-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations into the cause of the accident have been opened but no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
