A MAN has been arrested at a Spanish airport after allegedly assaulting two women with a knife at a Ryanair check-in desk.
Police pounced on the 30-year-old man inside the Terminal 1 of the Adolfo Suárez-Madrid Barajas airport after he pulled a knife on the women aged 24 and 47.
It is claimed that the man argued with one of the women and then took out a knife and attacked the youngest, while her companion tried to defend her.
The younger woman suffered minor wound on the hand and the oldest was stabbed in the ear, according to medical sources.
It is reported the attacker was disarmed and arrested by a nearby National Police officer.
