Woman lives 20 days with sister's corpse "not thinking she was dead" on the Costa Blanca

A WOMAN, who died around 20 days ago, was found in an advanced state of decomposition by the Local Police and Firefighter force in Alicante.
The deceased’s sister, who also lived in the house, assured officers that she “didn’t think” that her sister had died. 
Neighbours had alerted the police of a strong smell that was coming from the house and that they hadn’t seen either of the sisters, who were around 50-year-old, for days.
When the officers arrived to the scene, they found the body of the woman on the floor.
The sister, who suffers with a mental illness, explained that the woman had fallen over around 20 days ago but didn’t believe that she had died.
The National Police have since carried out an inspection on the house and “did not find anything strange or any signs of violence”.
