Plane crash: ‘Thirteen dead’ after aircraft crash lands in Moscow

PLANE CRASH: Thirteen people reportedly dead after plane crashes at Sheremetyevo Airport

At least 13 people have reportedly been killed after a Russian plane exploded in flames after making an emergency landing at Moscow’s main airport, according to media reports.

As fire broke out at the rear of the aircraft, passengers were seen fleeing the plane at Sheremetyevo airport.

An air stewardess is thought to be among the dead after the plane, carrying 78 people, attempted an emergency landing shortly after take-off.

Initial reports suggest the accident may have been caused by an electrical fault.

While media reports of the exact number of dead still vary, medical sources told one British publication the figure is at least 13.

The airport’s website has posted a number for relatives of those thought to be on board to call for information.
