What is HouseSitMatch.com ?

HOUSESIT Match is a housesitting platform that helps home and pet owners to meet checked house-sitters and pet sitters in a secure online space. We facilitate housesitting arrangements through a managed website where all members are ID checked.

How does it work?

We ask participants to join as either house-sitters or homeowners. You pay a small annual fee for membership.  Once a member, we run a simple ID check (like on AirBnB) – this is a simple process that keeps the site safe.

If you choose Premium membership (£79 per year) we can help you create your profile and adverts with a description of what is needed in the assignment.

House-sitters apply to your adverts through the website. Your contact details and exact location are hidden.

How do you agree the details?

You make arrangements with your chosen sitters through the website. They travel to your property to care for your pets. They pay for their own travel and upkeep while living in your home, for free. It is a fair exchange!

How much does it cost?

• The price for your membership is your main cost – Choose a membership plan – Please note prices go up soon so sign up now on subscription to secure these prices indefinitely:
  • Standard (DIY option) = £49pa
  • Premium (with support at each step) = £79pa
• We suggest that as a homeowner you welcome your house-sitters with a meal, remember they’ve travelled to you. And house-sitters, we suggest you restock the fridge and prepare a welcome home meal for your hosts. These gestures of courtesy are best practice in housesitting.
