Liverpool snatches Champions League final victory from Tottenham

THE Champions League trophy is on its way back to Anfield.

Liverpool has beaten Tottenham 2-0 in the final in Madrid.

Star striker Mohamed Salah got a penalty after just two minutes following Moussa Sissoko’s controversial handball. The Reds’ fans had to wait until the 87th minute for their side’s second goal, Divock Origi the scorer.

Liverpool’s victory is its sixth in the competition.
