Galicia opens Spain’s first brewing museum

Leading Spanish brewing company Estrella Galicia is to open Spain’s very first brewing museum this month in A Coruna, Galicia.

Titled MEGA, the museum opens its doors on June 19 (19-06 is when the brand was founded!)

The museum will contain over 3000 square metres of interactive exhibits, live brewing and beer tasting areas.

The aim of the new project is to provide an interactive learning experience and to give the public a look into the history of the famous beer brand, as well as teaching them about the brewing processes.

Visitors will be invited to taste the different hops that go into brewing the different types of beer, as well as sampling some of the finished products, but not enough to get you drunk though!

Entrance to the museum alone will be 15 euros and to take a guided tour of the exhibits will cost €20.
