COAST GUARDS are continuing to search for a British man who went missing while jet skiing off Tenerife on Saturday.

Salvamento Maritimo sources said Ricardo Santana is thought to have got off his jet ski to swim before vanishing on Saturday June 15 at about 11.30am.

He disappeared off Palm Mar, close to Los Cristianos, and was last seen wearing red shorts, coast guards added.

Coast guards and police have appealed for any information about Santana’s disappearance. They have also asked for help from professional divers to find him.

The British Consulate has confirmed it is assisting family and friends of the missing British man as the search continues.

Anyone with information can call the police on 091 or 062 or the emergency services on 112.
