Romance in Mojacar as they celebrate 'La Noche mas Romantica'

ROMANCE will be in the air in Mojacar this Saturday.
The municipality is marking the summer solstice with the ‘La Noche mas Romantica’ (the most romantic night).
The village streets, shops, restaurants, market stalls and local buses will be decked out with more than 2,000 balloons and hearts. There will be mime artists entertaining the children, live jazz and boleros in the Parterre and Fronton squares, and an immense dance floor in the Plaza Nueva.
Mojacar is staging The Noche mas Romantica along with the 53 municipalities around the country which belong to the Prettiest Villages in Spain Association and more than 400 locations across Europe.
The culmination of the celebrations will be the Prettiest Kiss in the World at the stroke of midnight in the Plaza Nueva. As the church bells ring out and the fireworks go up, everyone will be encouraged to pucker up and plant a kiss on their nearest and dearest.
