Body found on the Playa Puntilla in Cadiz

A BODY has been found on the Playa Puntilla in the Cadiz region of El Puerto de Santa Maria.

As reported by 112 Emergencies Andalucia, the grim discovery was made on Tuesday (26) at 11.40am by a passerby who contacted the emergency services after noticing a body on a section of rocks at the end of the jetty.

A team of workers from Public Health Emergencies, the local and national police force and fire crews were all present to rescue the body as it was in a difficult to access area.

Details are not yet available to the identity of the body or the means in which the deceased died.
