WHATSAPP, Instagram and Facebook have gone down affecting users across the world.
The apps appear to not function properly prompting thousands of complaints. This is affecting the loading of content and preventing users from downloading or sending images and audio.
According to the site Down Detector, which monitors complaints, at around 3pm more than 1,800 complaints were sent regarding Facebook alone.
Frustrated social media users are also voicing their anger on Twitter.
