National Police officers have arrested a 22-year-old in connection with threats made to passengers at knife point at a Madrid Metro station on Monday.
Officers alleged the man entered Vista Alegre station with two large blades and began making slashing motions across the chests of other travellers.
After a few minutes the man left the station and went out onto the street, still brandishing the knives.
National Police officers collected statements from witnesses and victims and made the arrest early Tuesday morning the suspect’s home home.
The 22-year-old is due to appear before the courts as the case continues.
