AN easyJet plane collides with parked aircraft on the runway. British passengers were on board when the plane collided with a parked KLM aircraft at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport on Tuesday.
Videos and photos taken by passengers on the easyJet flight appear to show the wing of their Airbus 320 lodged against the stationary KLM aircraft’s tail.
In a statement easyJet said it could “confirm that two aircraft made contact during pushback from stand, one of which was easyJet flight EJU8868 from Amsterdam to London Gatwick.”
There were no reports anyone was hurt in the incident; passengers said they just felt a small bump.
The flight was however delayed for several hours.
