Mid-morning bar stabbing in Albir bar

A 20-YEAR-OLD was rushed to Villajoyosa Hospital after he was stabbed an Albir bar.
He was later transferred to Alicante General for surgery, according to the Emergencies’ Information and Coordination Centre, CICU, although at the time of writing there was no further information regarding his condition.
The incident occurred at 11am in a bar on the Camino Viejo de Altea road that links Albir and Benidorm.
Both the attacker, a man of 46 who was taken into custody by the Guardia Civil, and his victim were British, revealed sources close to the case.
