Murcia Local Police made four arrests
THE local police in Murcia will be getting paid for the extra hours that they put in now, following a long period when they were obligated to work past their shifts for little or no renumeration.
The council of Murcia has been in talks with the unions UGT, Sime, CC OO, CSIF and Somos over the weekend to make allowances for extra hours that the police are putting in. They also talked about increasing police salaries.
Local police have had to work extra hours recently due to the number of personnel that have left the forces over the last couple of years.
