A MALE under the age of 18 has been arrested for allegedly assaulting and robbing a disabled woman in the outskirts of Oviedo on July 6.
The 25-year-old woman, who has not been named but is reportedly 65 per cent disabled, reported the attack to the authorities prompting an investigation.
The attack happened in an abandoned building in the outskirts of Oviedo, where he allegedly sexually attacked the woman then threatened to steal her belongings, documentation and money.
After an investigation by the National Police and the Family and Women’s Service Unit (UFAM) the attacker was identified by the victim and a witness and was arrested.
He is currently being held in the Sograndio Juvenile Center where he awaits a court appearance.
