Officers of the National Police have arrested three men of Spanish and Nigerian nationalities on suspicion of robbery of a number of establishments in the area.
The men, aged between 17 and 18 years are alleged to have committed at least 10 different robberies by breaking in through windows and forcing entry through doors.
The men were arrested in a hotel in Ronda where officers found, masks, tools, weapons and gloves all connected with armed robberies.
An investigation by the authorities has concluded that the two Nigerian men travelled from El Ejido (Almería) where they met with the third Spanish man, using the hotel as a base for the crimes.
So far it is unclear whether the group are part of a larger operation and investigations are still underway.
