An 8 year old boy has been murdered in Frankfurt, Germany by an unnamed assailant who pushed the child and his mother in front of a moving train.
The murderer’s motives for the crime are as of yet unclear. He was apprehended soon after the incident by the police with the help of citizens who slowed him down as he was trying to flee the scene of the crime.
Witnesses at the train station mentioned in their official police statements that the perpetrator tried to push a third person on to the tracks but after seeing what had just happened to the unfortunate mother and son,the third victim was able to fend off the attack.
The mother was able to get off the tracks before the train came but the young boy was reportedly in a state of shock and could not move out of the way. The president of Hesse, Volker Bouffier made the claim that he and his governing body will not rest until the horrific events surrounding the incident have been properly evaluated.
