A SPANISH man has died after apparently jumping from a third floor balcony in the popular holiday resort of Cala Major, Palma. The incident happened at approximately 10am this morning(Monday)at the Marivent Hotel. Eye witnesses claim they saw the man running from his room and appearing to deliberately “jump” from the balcony. Emergency services rushed to the hotel but the man was pronounced dead on the scene. The area was secured as the body was removed for autopsy to determine the cause of death. An investigation is also underway with police officers interviewing hotel staff and witnesses to try and find out the possible motive behind the jump. According to sources the man was on holiday with his wife at the time.
