Young woman falls more than five metres during circus act

A YOUNG female trapeze artist recently had a lucky escape when she fell more than five metres whilst attempting a trick.

The fall was filmed by an audience member at the show in Grandas de Salime in Asturias and has been shared on social media.

Her colleagues and members of the audience are shown to be stunned by this untimely fall but then a friend quickly rallies to her aid and makes sure that she is ok.

In the event, despite the drop, she escaped with just an injury to her wrist.
