POLICE Officers have discovered the body of a woman in a home in Madrid with signs of suspected gender violence on Calle Tenerife in the Tetuan district of the city.
According to reports from the Police Headquarters, the victim was found with heavy bruising to the head and stab wounds.
The body was discovered after an 091 call was made at around 12.20pm this morning.
Agents were called to the scene from the Scientific Police Brigade and from the Homicide Group to confirm the injuries and to remove the body for autopsy.
The police are currently investigating.
