The helicopter used for aerial coverage of “La Vuelta”—the famed Spanish cycling race which finalises this year in Madrid on September 15, not only covered the race during stage eight, but also uncovered a cannabis plantation on a rooftop in Igualada.

The Mossos d’Esquadra were informed and were later able to locate and intercepted the prohibited substances that were planted on said rooftop in Igualada, where the eighth stage of La Vuelta concluded last Saturday.

A total of 40 plants were found on the roof of the house.
