Emmy Award Winning Actress Slammed In Jail

EMMY AWARD winning world famous actress has been sentenced to 14 days in prison after she admitted paying a bribe of £12,000/$15,000 to her daughters exam markers to have her daughters wrong answers corrected to pass her college exams.

Felicity Huffman is an American actress and now awakes this morning as a convicted felon. Prior to her sentencing Huffman had a glittering career with numerous accolades including a prime time Emmy award, a golden globe award, three screen actor guild awards and had received the notorious Bafta award.

On release Huffman has been ordered to 250 hours of community service as well as a $30,000 dollar fine.

The desperate housewives star pleaded guilty in court and will start her 14 day sentence in 6 weeks despite prosecutors asking the court for a 4 week sentence in jail.

Shortly after leaving the court room Huffman made a statement citing

There are no justifications for my actions period, I would like to apologise again to my daughter, my husband, my family and the educational community for my actions”

” I want to apologise to the students who work hard every day to get into college and to their parents who make huge sacrifices supporting their children”

The judge commented in court she believed Huffman had taken full responsibility for her actions but did not excuse what she did.
