THE Ayuntamiento of Rojales is appealing to the many property owners in the area of empty rental homes to ask if they can be used to help accommodate the thousands of uprooted families in the region.
For many parts of Rojales, the flooding is getting worse as water from neighbouring towns is causing levels to continue to rise.
As part of the appeal, the town hall is asking if owners can donate their empty properties for between two to three weeks, and if local estate agents can assist in the inquiries in locating any empty properties that can be used.
Anyone who is in a position to assist is urged to contact the Ayuntamiento of Rojales through their Facebook page directly.
