LONDON: Home to fashion and textile innovation this month

LONDON FASHION WEEK is in full swing. Things look a little different this season, with many designers choosing to show their collections off-schedule. While the British Fashion Council is opening its doors to the general public for the first time ever, with tickets available to buy for select shows.

In 2019 the British Fashion Council continues to focus on its Positive Fashion initiative, a platform designed to celebrate industry best practice and encourage future business decisions to create positive change.

Changes led by strategic pillars such as sustainability with focuses on social, environmental and business governance to drive a more sustainable fashion future. As well as equality and diversity.

The BFC takes the lead in setting the standards for an industry that strives to represent equality and diversity on the global stage. Championing the importance of every person in the sector as a vital and valuable part of our industry entitled to be treated with respect and dignity.

The event will be followed by 100% Design which is the largest and longest-running design
trade event for industry professionals in the UK. Celebrating a quarter century of launching some of the industry’s most influential people, this year’s show will be an unmissable destination for design and innovation.

This year eight companies from Spain will participate in this most prestigious design fair: Adex, Azteca, Ceracasa, Tempio (Cerámica Mayor), Cevica, Dune, Small Size y Todagres.

100% DESIGN is the largest design fair in the United Kingdom and this year celebrates its 25th edition with the participation of the most influential designers and manufacturers in the design industry. More than 400 exhibitors involved in the contest exhibiting their novelties in furniture, lighting, textiles, surfaces and accessories.

The fair attracts more than 27,000 visitors, mainly architects, designers and interior designers. 100% DESIGN has a program of high-level conferences, facilities and a selection of leading brands in the world, which is why it is the essential meeting place dedicated to design in London. The fair is held in Olympia London between September 18 and 21.
