THE local council of Rincon de la Victoria has released the tender today to multiple companies for the construction of the new Huerta Julián Auditorium.
The proposed open air venue will have the capacity to host over 1,000 spectators and has a budget of €915,000.
Interested companies will have until 3pm on October 21 to submit their offers to construct the very first open air venue in the municipality, as well as auxiliary
The entire project has a deadline of five months as declared in the Profile of the Contractor and the mayor of Rincon, Francisco Salado (PP) has assured that the works will start before the end of the year.
The enclosure will occupy a total area of 2,500 square metres next to the newly constructed skate park and when completed, will be home to musical and dance performances as well as theatrical performances, charity events and cultural and educational presentations.
Councillor of Urbanism and Large Projects, Miguel Angel Jimenez (PP) explained that the auditorium “will complement not only the skate park, but also municipal indoor swimming pool which opens this month.
