Paraglider Crash See’s Helicopter Rescue

A paraglider yesterday was seriously injured after suffering a fall on a hill in Antequera (Malaga)

 
A call came into the local ambulance service at around 17.20 hours and the caller alerted that they had witnessed a paraglider which had crashed and the pilot was in what looked a very bad way.
 
The crash took place at the height of the A-7204, between KM 37 and 38, in the municipality of Antequera.
 
A rapid response to the crashed paraglider included Ambulance service, National police as well as the fire service.
 
The paraglider pilot was thankfully still alive although suffered broken bones and lots of heavy bruising.
 
An air ambulance was called into to lift the casualty to hospital due to the high and rough terrains.
 
The crashed paraglider pilot is now recovering in hospital after hours of treatment.
