Tory MP Ejected From Party Conference

A Conservative spokesman confirmed that today at the conservative party conference Tory MP has been expelled from the party’s conference in Manchester after a”totally unacceptable” incident involving a clash with security staff.

The Mp in question was Geoffrey Clifton-Brown who has been a member of Parliament since 2010.

Armed police on security and protection patrol were quickly at the scene.

The MP in question said “I’ve got nothing further to say about it. I don’t want to comment on it, really.”

The incident is reported to have taken place inside the International Lounge at the conference centre. Images shortly confirmed this as they circulated on social media.

A staff member guarding the door of the lounge said the incident was sparked by a disagreement, adding: ‘It was a small misunderstanding’.
