+dMANÁ Official tribute band for Maná, widely considered to be the most successful Latin American band of all times, will be playing for the first time at the Sala La Trinchera in Malaga on the 5th of October in aid of the Butterfly Children’s Charity.
In their latest tour “Positive energy 2019” the band will be donating one euro for every ticket sold.
Nieves and Iñigo Ibarrondo founded the Butterfly Children’s Charity in 1993 with the birth of their son. He was diagnosed with the rare genetic condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). The lack of awareness and the limited access available to specialist medical staff left the family feeling isolated and alone at this devastating time: this led to the foundation of the charity, a charity built to ensure that no other family would have to walk this path alone. The charity exists to support and advise families with a specialist team of nurses, a psychologist and social workers who work tirelessly to support the 500 children and young adults affected by this condition. Their skin is as fragile as a butterfly’s wing and is damaged by the lightest touch, leading to painful open wounds and life long disability.
The +dMANÁ band is led by Italian vocalist Luca Lavelli: the highly regarded tribute band has had the pleasure of performing with Maná musicians Sergio Villain and Hector Quintana at previous concerts. After touring Spain, the Canary Islands, Andorra and Paris and with over 100 sold out concerts behind them, Luca Lavelli now brings us “a spectacle full of positive energy, strength and passion, combining many of Maná’s greatest hits and taking you on an unforgettable musical journey”
