Dona Julia Golf Club
Doña Julia Golf, on the Costa del Sol, is situated in the Municipality of Casares, although part of its perimeter is adjacent to Manilva, a few metres from the sea and the mountains, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Sierra Bermeja and Ronda and is strategically situated just 45km distance to Marbella, 18km to Sotogrande, and 35 km to Gibraltar.
Established in 2005 this golf course is perfectly integrated into the natural landscape area and is noted for its magnificent views over the Mediterranean Sea and the African Coast. The course is 18 holes par 71 (provisional) with a length of 5,976 meters and built to the standards of the United States Golf Association (USGA) in terms of tees, bunkers, drainage and greens.
It was designed by renowned Malaga architect Antonio Garcia Garrido, responsible for some of the most emblematic areas of Spain. The most outstanding feature of this field, developed by the Group Evamarina is the breadth of green with a surface between 700m2 and 1000m2 planted with Agrostis Pen G-2.
