Former Thomas Cook chief executive Peter Fankhauser has just told MPs he is “deeply sorry” he failed to save the company.
The former Thomas Cook boss Peter Fankhauser took home bonuses of £837,000 in 2017, around £600,000 more than the year before.
It helped him at the time take a total pay package that reached £1.8million.
How well his apology has gone down is not sure at this present stage.
