SCOTT GORDON survived the carnage when a drugged, drunk driver mowed down a group of Javea cyclists in May 2017.
Three of the group were killed and although one cyclist emerged unscathed from the accident on the N-332 in Oliva, Scott Gordon and Andres Contreras suffered serious injuries.
Both are still suffering the after-effects and Scott has now entered the operating theatre on 14 occasions, the last on September 30.
Four of these operations were carried out over the last 11 months by the surgeon Pedro Cavadas, renowned for his repair techniques.
He must now wear an external fixation splint for the next six months, and Scott recently told the Spanish media that he and the surgeon believe that this fourth operation is going to be the last.
