Salobrena surf food truck gets generous lifeline

THE food truck that was completely gutted by fire has been given a lifeline from the local community.

The converted bus was part of the 18 Nudos surf club and school when it was destroyed by an apparently deliberate fire last week, leaving owner Antonio Paquet, devastated.

However a group of bands that have performed at the club previously have banded together and organised a fund raising concert in order to help the money to rebuild the Food Truck.

A group of surfers who regularly use the surf school have also chipped in to help, organising an online campaign to raise a total of €7,000. So far their total has reached €700 with 25 days remaining.

The concert will take place on October 26 and 27 at the 18 Nudos Surf School.
