Axarquia to Promote it's Natural Resources at 'Tierra Adentro'

THE Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa del Sol Axarquía, APTA and CEDER will travel to Jaen for the Tourism Fair ‘Tierra Adentro’ this month to promote its tourist activities.
The fair will take place between October 25 and 27 and representatives of Axarquia will promote the natural resources that the region has to offer tourists from all over Spain.
The spokesman of the Commonwealth of Municipalities of Axarquia, Antonio Sanchezwil travel with fellow government members, Juan Peñas, Aroa Palma and the manager of APTA, Elisa Paez to the fair entitled the XVIII International Fair of Tourism, Sports and Adventures of Andalusia ‘Tierra Adentro’.”
It’s a very important fair for us because they are the main inland destinations in Spain and because it concentrates professionals in the sector looking for places that offer opportunities for sports tourism or adventure,” said Sanchez.
During the visit they will promote areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the Cuevas de Nerja and Tesoro, the Almijara and Alhama Natural Park and the La Caleta marina by distributing leaflets, tourist maps and creating a tourist information point for all 31 municipalities.
The delegates will also push the region’s culinary and cultural offerings as well as highlighting the importance of the tropical fruit industry, specifically the muscatel grape.
