ALFAZ’s Occupational Training Centre (CFO) will host a course on applying the social media to business. The course organised by the Marina Baja Businesswomen’s association, MEMBA, in conjunction with Alfaz town hall will be held in November and in early December. The social media is a growing influence in personal relations, but it is also an important work tool, said MEMBA’s president Maria Jose Tent. “A message on Facebook allows a business-owner to launch a message rapidly efficiently and economically,” Tent said. “This message can then make an immediate impact on a niche of potential clients.” The 12-hour course targets businesses that want to learn how to optimise their presence on the social media and will be held on November 19, 21, 26 and 28 as well as December 3 and 4 between 2pm and 4pm at the CFO. Attendees will learn how to communicate correctly on the social media, tackling issues that include designing a strategy of online communication, improving a business’s internet presence and even handling crisis situations, Tent said. The course costs €25 but is free to MEMBA members and those interested in attending the course can register online at the www.membamarinabaixa.org/ website. – If you have enjoyed this news article, please note that our current charitable activity is on behalf of Ciudad de los Niños orphanage in Malaga.
