From Speaker To King Of The Jungle; John Bercow Game To Appear On I’m A Celebrity For £1MILLION

John Bercow called his last order at the House of Commons yesterday afternoon

Now as an “ unemployed Commons Speaker” he’s game to become the next King of the jungle (or at least attempt it) in I’m A Celebrity, filmed in the Australian outback.

There is however one snag, his seven-figure asking price.

Or perhaps it was the thought of terrifiying spiders or the idea of eating kangaroo balls that made him ask for the exhorbarent fee, consciously knowing he’d priced himself out of the market.

TV insider said: ‘John has priced himself out of the market by asking for £1million, far more than anyone’s ever been paid on the show.

It’s a shame, he would have been an interesting addition to the jungle ­gathering, not least because of his extremely extensive vocabulary.’

They added that he is a ‘proper character’, with a long career in politics and that he would have been a good match for the show.
