PUERTO Rican rapper Residente has been announced as the first headline act at next years Weekend Beach Festival in Torre del Mar. The popular South American rapper is sure to please the 15,000 ticket holders already lined up to attend. Known worldwide, Residente has won over 25 Grammy awards, making him the most decorated Latin rapper of all time, as well as being the face of Unicef and Amnesty International campaigns, he is well known for his social work. Fans of latin hip hop will also be pleased to hear that rap duo SFDK will also take to the stage during the festival. A handful of other acts have also been announced including el Drogas fronted by ex Barricada rock musician Drogas. Miguel Campello, Deborah de Luca, Shinova, Trashtucada, Marcus Bailey, Ether and RAØØÜ have also put their names down to perform.
