BUDGET: Competa reveals its 2020 budget. Source: Wikipedia
THE Local council of Competa has released its 2020 budget to unlock a total of €500,000 of improvement works.
This budget was announced during the latest plenary session held of Friday 1 November and was given the green light after votes in favour from the towns parties of PSOE, Ciudadanos and Por Mi Pueblo.
The councillor for finance and spokesman for the Cs has pointed out that the amount is only half of the budget allocation last year.
Among the projects to get the funding are the resurfacing of the football field along with the creation of an athletics track to the cost of €100,000, €126,000 for the works of the PFEA, and €60,000 to create a walking path from San Antón to Canillas de Albaida.
New car parks, road improvements, park maintenance and the creation of a new lookout point on Calle San Sebastián are also on the list.
