ELIMINATED: Fumigation campaign underway Photo credit: Alfaz town hall
War on insects and vermin OPERATIVES are currently carrying out the fourth phase of Alfaz’s disinfection, fumigation and rodent–control campaign. They are concentrating on storm drains and sewers to eliminate possible plagues of insects and vermin, the town all explained. The campaign will cover Alfaz’s town centre and Albir as well as the Tossal de Riera, Escandinavia, Jardin de Alfaz, San Rafael, Cautivador and Belmonte Oasis urbanisations. Householders can consult the Hidraqua web page for details of the fumigation plans so that they may take any necessary precautions inside their own properties. Fumigation on this scale is the most effective way of eliminating and preventing insects and vermin, the town hall explained, and also facilitates upkeep of the sewers and drains.
