Dealing with Brexit a Marbella presentation

British Consul Charmaine Arbouin

ORIGINALLY planned as a discussion about the effect of Brexit which was expected to take place on October 31, the Marbella Council with the British Consulate in Malaga have organised a public talk on Tuesday November 12.

The free entry event will start at 5pm in the Adolfo Suárez Congress Centre in the city and speakers will include Charmaine Arbouin British Consul for Andalucia, the Canaries, Ceuta and Melilla, lawyer Ricardo Bocanegra and expert on financial matters Bernard Fay.

Although aimed primarily at British passport holders, all are welcome to attend to discuss a number of matters relevant to Brexit including Gibraltar, the issue of borders, the evolution of the pound and the application of the Aliens Law.

Currently some 4,000 Brits are registered as residents in the city but the number who still need to register is much higher and an explanation on why this is important will be given.
