Murder suspects Santos Fonseca, 21, and Jonathan Salazar, 20, have broken out of jail and gone on the run after escaping from Jail through a small self made hole.

Escape Hole

Two suspected murderers broke out of Californian jail by crawling through a small hole they made in a bathroom ceiling. The jail is in Monterey California more notorious for it’s fish aquarium than prison breaks, whilst Carmel is just up the road where Clint Eastwood was once Major.

The escapees , who are both 5ft 7in, crawled through the hole into a small crawl space just 11inches wide in parts, then out of a hatch into an area under construction without any razor wire.

Cops and Guards are trying to find out if anyone helped the men escape on the outside.
