Inaugural visit of Sky Princess on maiden voyage to Gibraltar

THE new Minister for Tourism Vijay Daryanani made the traditional welcome to a new visiting cruise ship, as the Sky Princess cruise ship on its inaugural visit to Gibraltar.

Having been built in Italy, the vessel has just completed sea trials before being handed over to Princess Cruises and is on its maiden cruise, carrying 3,600 passengers and 1,400 crew, it set out from Athens on a journey to Rome which took in Gibraltar.
