AEDAS Homes seems to be growing in the face of concerns over an imminent recession after the Madrid Stock Exchange listed company received approval to begin construction of a large housing development near to Torre de Benagalbón.

The project, named Idilia, will contain 97 new homes ranging in sizes and including terraces, garage spaces, storage rooms, communal garden areas and swimming pools.

The first phase will include 18, 2-3 bedroom dwellings, with associated parking spaces and garages and will start from a price of €189,000.

The manager of Idilia, Roque Ballesteros, has explained the project on the company’s website, “quality housing at very competitive prices and in a privileged enclave. All the properties will have panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea from their terraces and an excellent orientation thanks to the studied layout of the buildings of the project”.

The plot will also include the construction of all associated facilities involved in a luxury development including swimming pools for adults and children, landscaped areas, children’s playgrounds.

Aedas Costa del Sol director José Ignacio Fernández reminded us that Aedas homes has a total of 6,000 homes on their portfolio as well as a total 1.8 million square metres of allocated municipal land which could potentially allow the development of 15,200 homes.
